1. WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO DO AFTER RETIREMENT?
Ps Jon has sensed a call to spend more time in the mission field. He will be travelling in and out of Singapore to minister and be a source of encouragement to the many pastors and missionaries, he is connected with and to those who are part of ministries he believes in. His main focus at this point are South East Asia and South Asia. (Please refer to his sharing with the church on the Southern Route or click on this link: .) When he is not travelling, he will be helping churches and organizations that are open to his help.
The churches and organizations that he will be involved in are not confined to the Methodist circle. After 32 years in Methodist ministry, he sensed that God is now leading him to minister to the greater body of Christ in this season of his life.
2. DO YOU RECEIVE A SALARY OR A PENSION AFTER RETIREMENT?
There will NOT be a salary or pension after retirement. Our monthly support and ministry expenses will be dependent on our savings and on love gifts. God is Provider. As He calls, He will surely supply all our needs according to His riches in heaven!
3. HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE AND GIVE TO YOUR MINISTRY?
a. Pray
i. First, pray that Ps Jon be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
ii. Pray for protection as he travels and for his family.
iii. Pray for the Presence of God to be made manifest in his life and ministry.
iv. Pray for favor to be released in his life and family.
v. Pray for each trip he makes – visit the website for more specific prayer needs.
b. Support Financially
There are 2 accounts that you may give to. The first account is for love gifts to Ps Jon and his ministry. Giving to this account means that you are giving to Ps Jon and he is able to use the amount given for his own personal use as well as for use in the ministry and wherever he is led to.

The second account is for ministry alone. Giving towards this account is meant only for ministry and no amount is to be used for personal purposes. Examples of ministry purposes are buying rice for distribution and expenses for the rallies and pastors’ conferences.

c. Join him in the trips
Some trips are meant for him to connect and to encourage the pastors/missionaries. It may not be convenient to have others join him due to sensitivities and other factors. There will also be some trips that may be open to participation from friends and members. Keep a look-out by checking on this website.
4. WHAT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY WILL THERE BE ON FUNDS RAISED?
The first account is meant for personal love gifts to him and for him to use the funds at his own discretion. The second account is meant for ministry use only. Ps Jon has asked 3 known leaders from the churches he has served in to hold him accountable for the usage of the funds in the second account.
They are Henry Lee and Josephine Poore – both from Pentecost Methodist Church. The third is Chan Choon Seng from Paya Lebar Methodist Church. All who have given to this account can approach them and ask for details of the use of the funds in ministry.
